National Parks Free On Saturday
MIAMI (CBSMiami) – If you're stuck at home trying to figure out what to do this weekend, the National Park Service has a deal for you.
The NPS will be giving free access to national parks across the country and the Sunshine State as part of Get Outdoors day which is Saturday.
The fee waiver from the NPS includes entrance fees, commercial tour fees, and transportation entrance fees. Other fees including reservation and camping fees will be handled on a park-by-park basis.
Local National Parks included on the list are Everglades National Park and Dry Tortugas National Park. If you want to drive north on I-95 you can also visit Canaveral National Seashore and Castillo de San Marcos.
If you can't hit the National Parks Saturday, they will be free again on September 29 and from November 10-12.
