N. Ft. Myers Man Accused Of Stabbing Pregnant Woman
NORTH FT. MYERS (CBS4) - A North Ft. Myers man was arrested after he allegedly stabbed a pregnant woman nearly 30 times.
Around 4 a.m. Saturday, Lee County Sheriff's deputies were sent to check out reports of car horn which had been blaring for almost an hour. They located the car and inside they found a visibly pregnant woman who was covered in blood. She said an acquaintance by the name of Michael Ginsberg, 41, had stabbed her in his driveway and then drove her to an abandoned apartment complex where her left her to die.
The woman and her 6-month-old fetus were taken to a hospital, where they are in critical condition.
Ginsberg has been charged with attempted second degree murder.
