Monroe County Public Schools Closed Wednesday
MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Public schools in the Florida Keys are closed Wednesday due to lingering storms and possible flooding brought on a storm system that spawned at least one possible tornado, caused minor injuries, damaged property and blocked roads with fallen trees.
The Lower Keys are under a Flood Warning until 9:45 a.m., the Middle Keys are under an Urban Flood Advisory until 9:30 a.m and the Upper Keys are under an Urban Flood Advisory until 10:15 a.m.
A Tornado Watch that had been in affect overnight was lifted early Wednesday, though rain is expected to continue throughout the day.
