Mom, Daughter Accused Of Prostitution Op In Palm Beach Apartment
BOYNTON BEACH (CBSMiami/AP) – Everyone loves a "BOGO" – you know 'buy one, get one free'.
Well, a Boynton Beach woman and her daughter allegedly took the concept a little too far and ended up in jail - twice.
Ramona Ramoutar, 43, and her daughter Daniella Sinanan, 24, posted pictures and advertised specials under the adult entertainment section of the Backpage.com website. According to their advertisement, "Jazmine" and "Angel" were waiting in Boynton Beach to "rock your world" with "daily 2 for 1 specials."
"We are aware of other people using Backpage.com as a way to promote their illegal activity, and we will be looking to arrest them as well," Sgt. Richard McNevin said.
Their neighbors complained after seeing so many men going into and out of the women's apartment so last month officers staked it out.
Officers watched several "Johns" come and go from the women's apartment. On July 18th, they stopped a suspected "john" leaving. He told officers he paid $100 for sex with the mother/daughter duo.
On July 24, an officer called the number listed on the website and arranged to meet with the women.
The next day, the undercover officer went to Ramoutar and Sinanan's apartment, and was allegedly offered the "2 for 1 special" for $150. He handed Ramoutar $100 and said he had to go back to his car to get the other $50, according to the police department. Officers then went into the apartment and arrested Ramoutar and Sinanan. They were charged with solicitation of prostitution, as well as possession of drug paraphernalia because officers found a glass pipe and needles in the apartment.
They were arrested again Tuesday, August 6th, after officers discovered they were back in business.
