WEST PALM BEACH (CBSMiami/AP) — A West Palm Beach woman was arrested after she reportedly decked her son's second grade teacher.
Shakira Green, 30, went to her son's classroom at West Palm Beach's Roosevelt Elementary School on December 17th and threatened to attack her according to the arrest report.
At one point Green reportedly hit the 57-year-old teacher, who blacked out and was taken to a hospital. School officials say she hasn't returned to school.
The school's principal, Sharonda Alleyne, says the attack was an isolated incident and students were never in jeopardy.
Green is charged with battery on a school board employee. She remained in jail on bail late Wednesday.
