MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Mixed Martial Arts superstar Conor McGregor has been arrested again, this time in Miami Beach.

He was booked into jail early Monday evening and released shortly after 10 p.m.

McGregor is accused of strong-arm robbery and criminal mischief.

According to an arrest report, the incident happened Monday at approximately 5:20 a.m. just outside the Fountainbleau Hotel on Miami Beach.

Someone stopped to take a photo of Connor McGregor.

According to Miami Beach Police the UFC superstar responded by slapping the phone out of the man's hand, stomping on it repeatedly and then walking away with the damaged phone.

Police caught up with him later in the day at a luxury waterfront mansion on the Venetian Islands.

"There was a lot of police here," said neighbor Silvana Lois. "And undercover police too, and it was all the street from the beginning to the end."
