Missing Parkland Woman Found, Will Undergo Mental Evaluation
PARKLAND (CBSMiami) – A Parkland woman, missing for nearly a week, has been found.
According to the Broward Sheriff's Office, Roseann DiFiore has been located but detectives did not release where she was found or where she was taken.
Missing persons detectives said only that she had been Baker Acted for a mental health evaluation.
Her husband, Neil Rosen, was the last person to see her on the night of Wednesday, July 24th.
The next morning, when she wasn't home, Rosen thought she had gone to work, according to BSO. But he received an alarming text message around 9:30 a.m. that indicated she may harm herself.
BSO investigators said Rosen was cooperating with detectives throughout the investigation.
Rosen was once in the news himself when he was acquitted of killing his girlfriend in the 1990s in one of the first murder cases in the city of Weston.
Reached by phone, Monday, Rosen told a CBS4 News reporter, "You people are trying to ruin my life…because of something that happened 20 years ago."
Rosen's attorney, Scott Hecker, told CBS4 News Rosen's wife has "mental issues" and has previously been involuntarily hospitalized for treatment.
