Missing Florida Girl Found In Tennessee
MIAMI (CBSMiami/AP) - A young girl who was the subject of a Florida Amber Alert has been found safe.
Police in Memphis, Tennessee found four-year-old Rebecca Lewis with 31-year old Wild West Hogs, a family friend that took her from her Polk County home on Saturday.
Investigators said they had received a number of tips about possible sightings in Georgia and other parts of Tennessee before finally locating her.
Police found Lewis and Hogs just after noon Monday after receiving a call from Baptist Memorial Hospital-Memphis. An employee recognized the child Hogs from the Amber Alert. When officers arrived, they saw the car mentioned in the alert pulling out of the garage.
Polk County Sheriff's officials say they're not sure what time Rebecca will arrive home.
