TAMPA (CBSMiami) - A stunning sight in Tampa Bay as hundreds of eagle rays flowed into a boat channel.
The large group of rays, known as a 'fever', was spotted swimming in the waters off the Gandy Bridge, the southernmost bridge spanning Tampa Bay.
These particular rays were most likely 'cownose rays', which often swim together in groups of hundreds or even thousands.
The fever migrated to Tampa Bay's warmer waters from South America where it's winter.
