Cuban Migrants Come Ashore On Key Biscayne
KEY BISCAYNE (CBSMiami) -- Migrants came ashore Tuesday afternoon near a Key Biscayne condominium.
Marine patrol and Key Biscayne police were at the scene near the Mar-Azul condominiums located at 600 Grapetree Drive.

Border Patrol officials said nine Cuban males came ashore on a steel framed boat with what looked to be a car or a truck engine powering it.
No one needed medical attention so they were taken to the Border Patrol Office in Dania Beach where they will be processed and released to their families.
The men seemed to be in good spirits.
They weren't the only one in good spirits. Key Biscayne residents gathered on the beach especially the younger ones who despite their age, seemed knowledgeable about what was going on.
CBS4's Summer Knowles asked witness Tomas Saud, "Do you understand why they came here?"
"Yea, for liberty free," said Saud. "I feel really happy for them."
A Key Biscayne resident said, " I'm so happy for them. Welcome home.This is home"
Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Officials were in charge of removing the boat.
