Migrant landing reported in Pompano Beach
POMPANO BEACH - A migrant landing took place Tuesday morning, Pompano Beach Fire Rescue confirmed.
The landing occurred at 2400 NE 20th Ave., east of U.S. 1.
A group of migrants was dropped off in an canal and they later walked on foot to a nearby church.
Broward Sheriff's Office personnel were on the scene.
