Michele Bachmann Swings Through Florida

POINCIANA, Fla. (CBSMiami.com) – Former 2012 GOP frontrunner Michele Bachmann brought her campaign to the Sunshine State Saturday to speak out against environmentalists and the Environmental Protection Agency.

Bachmann claimed the United States has more fuel resources than any other country in the world, but that "radical environmentalists" were stifling American energy policy.

"The radical environmentalists have demanded that we lock up all our energy resources," Bachmann said. "President Bachmann will take that key out of the door. I will unlock it."

Bachmann was even more forceful when it came time to talk about the EPA. She called the EPA a "job killing" agency and that under her watch it would cease to exist.

"We will turn out the lights and we'll lock the doors," Bachmann said.

Bachmann said she would be returning often to Florida ahead of the GOP primary next year. She currently trails Rick Perry in the race to face President Barack Obama in 2012.
