Missing 10-Month-Old Baby Is Found Hours After Amber Alert

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – A day-long flurry of activity at a Liberty City apartment building ended with the news that a 10-month-old baby boy was found safe in the Miami Springs area, according to City of Miami Police.
"My daughter say she was sleeping when she woke up, the baby, her phone and Bella was gone," said Neteisha Starling, the boy's grandmother.
An AMBER Alert was issued for Noah Florvil when his mother reported him missing Monday morning from his home in Liberty City in the area of Northwest 66th Street and 12th Avenue.
Detectives spent the day speaking with people who live in the area, even bringing out K-9s to aid in the search, before word came shortly after 8 p.m. that the boy had been found.
"This 10-month old has been missing since last night at 9:30 p.m. We do know that this child was in the company of a family acquaintance," said City of Miami Police Commander Freddie Cruz.
City of Miami Police said the child was last seen with a woman who went by the name of Bella but a source says that's not who the child was with when they found him.
Although City of Miami Police was not releasing much information regarding the case Monday night, earlier the grandmother spoke about how much little Noah means to her and how she hoped for his safe return.
"That baby is my all," said Starling. "That baby makes me happy. That baby gives me love when no one else do. I need him back home."
According to City of Miami Police, the baby is in the custody of the Department of Children and Families. No one has been charged.
Detectives continue speaking with people regarding the investigation.
