Miami Man Charged Crash Which Killed Philly Girl
MIAMI (CBSMiami/AP) – A Miami man will face a number of charges including vehicular homicide for a causing a crash over the weekend which killed an 11-year old girl in Philadelphia.
Police said 28-year old Maximiliano Alejandro Drosi was drunk behind the wheel of a rental vehicle when he slammed into an SUV. Drosi reportedly told crash investigators he was distracted by his GPS when he ran a red light Sunday afternoon, crashed into a sport utility vehicle which then slammed into a store in city's Italian Market.
The SUV crashed through the front of the store, pinning the young girl against a wall. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 3-year-old boy was also injured in the crash, along with three adults, including the SUV driver.
