Miami Hurricanes Backup Quarterback Released On Bond
MIAMI (CBSMiami) – A University of Miami Hurricanes backup quarter has bonded out of jail after his arrest on DUI charges and having a fake ID.
Kevin Olsen, 19, was arrested and charged for driving under the influence, possession of an older player's ID and possession of a fake ID.

Olsen, the brother of Carolina Panthers tight end and former Hurricanes star Greg Olsen, was released Monday on a $6,000 bond.
Athletic Director Blake James said Olsen, a red shirt freshman, was suspended indefinitely from the team pending further review.
Head Coach Al Golden said he's let down and concerned.
"Disappointment from my standpoint but the focus now is on his well-being and helping him through this," said Golden.
The police arrest report said there was an incident at Red Road Commons apartments near campus. When Olsen got out of the driver's side of a car and asked an officer what was happening.
The officer said Olsen had "bloodshot watery eyes", "an odor of alcoholic beverage", "slurred speech", and described him as "belligerent."
Fellow players and students were disappointed.
Grant Hessman, a student, said "if he can't make a commitment to the team it is his fault."
The report states the 19-year-old had two Maryland IDs on him that he told police were fake. He also had the Florida drivers' license of fellow Canes player senior Ronald Regula Junior.
Olsen was already suspended from the Canes' first two games of the season after he reportedly failed a drug test.
"I think it's unfortunate but we will deal with that the best way we can," said student Gabriella Arancio.
Coach Golden says this won't be a distraction.
"You just try to be consistent in your messaging and make sure you make some good choices for him he has to learn and move forward."
Olsen would not take a urine test.
