Miami Homes Evacuated, Roads Closed Because Of Gas Leak
MIAMI (CBS4) – Streets within a half mile radius of a Glenvar Heights neighborhood have been shut by rescue workers who are trying to get control of a gas leak.
Roads between Miller and 72nd Avenue are shut down for half a mile radius, according to Miami-Dade Fire Rescue Chief Bill Herrera.
Residents on both sides of a home in the 7100 block of Miller Drive have been evacuated because of the leak and are waiting for the gas to be turned off to the area, according to Miami-Dade Fire spokesman Capt. Eric Baum.
