MIAMI (CBSMiami) – The Miami Heat (5-5) are on the road to take on the Brooklyn Nets (4-5) Monday night.

The Heat are hoping to snap their current three-game losing streak at the Barclays Center. The Nets are also on a three-game road skid, so being home should give them some added oomph.

Looking back at the 2013 season, these two teams squared up well.

The Nets swept the Heat in their four-game series last season. But in the playoffs the Heat had the Nets' number, winning four games to one.

Brooklyn returns most of its core players from last season. The major departures were Paul Pierce and head coach Jason Kidd, which made way for Lionel Hollins.

For the Heat to have success, Chris Bosh needs to get rolling again. The All-Star forward has shot just 24 percent over the last three games.

The Heat have been hindered by injuries during this three-game funk and that won't change against the Nets. Danny Granger (hamstring), Dwyane Wade (hamstring), Josh McRoberts (foot) and Justin Hamilton (adductor) are doubtful for Monday's contest.
