Miami-Dade Police Arrest 4 Over $2.5 Million Theft
MIAMI (CBSMiami) – The Miami-Dade Police Department arrested four men and are looking for a fifth over their alleged role in the theft of a box truck that contained millions of dollars of goods.
According to detectives, between 11:40 p.m. and midnight on Saturday, July 6, the subjects stole the box truck that fully loaded with roughly $2.5 million worth of cell phones and perfumes. The truck was stolen from the 7900 block of NW 64 Street.
Medley Police later found the truck abandoned and completely empty on the 7900 block of NW 68 Street.
Miami-Dade Police arrested Emerio Evora, Jorge Gonzalez, Rodolfo Urra, and Alain Rangel for their alleged parts in the crime. Police continue to look for Carlos Albert saying there is an active warrant for his arrest for his role in the alleged box truck theft.
Investigators said surveillance video captured the images of the subjects unloading the merchandise.
