Miami-Dade Corrections Officer Killed In Traffic Crash
SOUTHWEST MIAMI-DADE (CBS4) - A violent rollover crash resulted in the death of a Miami-Dade corrections officer Friday afternoon.
Miami-Dade Police confirm to CBS4 that a call came in just after 3 p.m. that a single car crash occurred at Southwest 140 Avenue and Southwest 120 Street.
Police say the officer was on duty at the time of the crash and believe a medical event caused him to lose control of the car.
The deceased officer has not been identified.
