Miami Bound Plane From Bahamas Crashes Into Ocean Off Bimini
MIAMI (CBSMiami) - A South Florida bound plane from the Bahamas went down 20 miles east of Bimini.
The Piper PA-34 departed Great Harbour Cay Airport in The Bahamas and was flying to Miami Executive Airport when it went crashed into the ocean, according to the FAA's Kathleen Bergen.
The US Coast Guard said a fishing vessel rescued the three occupants of the plane. They were taken to Bahamian authorities in Cat Cay.
