Miami Beach Police Search For Rapist
MIAMI BEACH (CBSMiami) – The search is on for a man who sexually assaulted a woman on a Miami Beach street.
It happened around 3 a.m. Saturday on 77th Street between Harding and Collins avenues. The woman said she was walking alone when a man came up behind her, threw her to the ground and sexually assaulted her.
Residents of the area are concerned.
"Every time something like that happens it's horrible. It's horrible for the neighborhood, the family, for everybody," said Javier Truyo.
The woman described the man as being Hispanic, in his 20s with a thin build. He had brown eyes, dark hair and stood about 5' 7".
Miami Beach police are asking for the public's help in catching the guy before he does something like this again.
