Miami Beach Asking Residents To Stand Outside With Light This July 4th Night To Support Those Affected By Condo Collapse
MIAMI (CBSMiami) – The city of Miami Beach, like many of the cities in South Florida, decided to suspend fireworks and other celebrations this year as we mourn the lives lost in Surfside.
The city is asking residents to do something else instead.
At 9 p.m. Sunday, they'd like you to light a candle, use your phone light, a flashlight or anything else available, and stand outside for a moment of support for those affected by the condo collapse.
