MIA Customs Agents Find Fetuses In Luggage
MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Customs agents are used to finding quite a bit of oddities in luggage, but what they found in luggage coming from Cuba may have been the worst.
According to Miami-Dade Police, customs agents found two human fetuses in luggage from Cuba on January 30. The fetuses were in the luggage of two Cuban-American women returning from Havana.
Police said customs agents spotted the first fetus when they x-rayed a clay jar and found the second when they opened the jar. One of the fetuses was male and the other was female.
Medical examination determined both fetuses were roughly 20 weeks and had both been still born.
As a result, no charges were filed in the case.
