Metro Mover Supervisor Accused Of Raping Woman

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – A Miami-Dade employee is accused of raping a woman from Brazil who was in town for the Ultra Music Festival.
It happened Saturday night at the Metro Mover, Park West Station platform. The 25-year old woman, who appeared to be heavily intoxicated, was not allowed to board a train for her own safety, according to police.
Shortly afterward, a person flagged down Miami-Dade police officers working station and said they saw a Metro Mover employee pick her up, take her into a utility room and lock the door.
Five minutes after knocking on the locked door, police said 41-year old Carl Lee Wilt, a Miami-Dade Transit, Metro Mover Supervisor, came out with his zipper down. Officers then spotted a woman on unconscious on the floor.
The woman was taken to Miami Jackson Hospital, Rape Treatment Center. Police said the woman, who was under the influence of an unknown substance, could not remember anything that had happened to her. She said she didn't know Wilt or consent to have sex with him.
During questioning, Wilt, admitted that he took the woman into the utility room and had sex with her. He's been charged with kidnapping and sexual battery.
