Meteorologists Watching For Possible Tropical Depression Seven
MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Meteorologists are watching an area of disturbed weather in the Atlantic Ocean.
According to the National Hurricane Center, a low pressure area several hundred miles northeast of the northern Leeward Islands is expected to become better organized over the next couple of days.
A tropical or subtropical depression is possible by the weekend.
The system is expected to move northwestward or north-northwestward at about 10 mph.
Officials have given the low pressure area a 50 percent chance of development over the next two days.
