MIAMI (CBSMiami) – An 85-year-old woman, who was home alone, was robbed in the middle of the day by two sneaky men, police said.
"They snatched her phone and knocked her down," said the victim's friend who would not give her name. "Somebody knocked on the door and pretended to be the water company and they were not the water company."

Police said one man was at the front door around 2:30 p.m. wearing what looked like an official shirt with the water and sewer company.
The elderly woman let him in and he let another man in the back door.
Daniel Ferrin, a detective with the Miami-Dade Police Department, said, "She became aware something was wrong attempted to call one of her neighbors."
That's when she told police the thieves grabbed the phone out of her hand, threw her to the ground and then fled.
"Her hands are swollen and everything and her back is hurting," the woman's friend said. "She's too nice and too sweet for something like that to happen."
Her friend said the elderly lady lives with her daughter, but her daughter was at work when the men came knocking.
Her friend said, "I'm a mother and I'm a grandmother and I'm furious. Everyone around here should be upset."
The friend added, "They need to be buried under the jail. You don't hurt senior citizens."
