"Mega Money" Jackpot Swells To $2 Million
TALLAHASSEE (CBSMiami/AP) - Last week the "Mega Money" jackpot grew to $1.4 million, and after there were no big winners from this week's drawing, the jackpot has once again increased.
Better luck next time "Mega Money" players as the jackpot is now $2 million, according to lottery officials.
While no tickets may have matched all five numbers, some players did make some spare cash.
Five tickets won $1,345 for picking 4-of-4; 56 tickets won $263 each for picking 3-of-4 plus the Mega Ball number; 910 tickets won $48 each for picking 3-of-4; 1,208 tickets won $25 each for picking 2-of-4 plus the Mega Ball; 10,312 won $3 each for matching one number plus the Mega Ball; 27,560 tickets won $2 each for picking 2-of-4; and 23,763 won a free Quick Pick ticket for matching the Mega Ball.
The numbers drawn Friday night were 11-13-22-40 and the Mega Ball was 18.
