Mega-job fair will be held in Sunrise on Thursday. Here's what you need to know if you go.
SUNRISE - More than 150 company hiring managers and recruiters will be looking to fill thousands of positions at a mega-job fair in Sunrise on Thursday. The companies are hiring for positions in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties.
The event will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise. Those interested in attending are encouraged to arrive closer to 10 a.m. than 2 p.m. Parking is free.
Tory Burch, Coach, Victoria's Secret, Old Navy, Gap, Aeropostale, Nautica, Reebok, Lucky Brand, Polo Ralph Lauren, Michael Kors, Tommy Hilfiger and Levi's will be at the event hiring for their Sawgrass Mills locations.
Also looking to fill positions will be the Broward County Board of Commissioners, Broward County Public Schools - Food & Nutrition Services and Transit department, City of Coral Springs, City of Sunrise, Racetrac, NUC University, Generali Global Assistance, Massey Services, Norwegian Cruise Lines, OneBlood, Florida Panthers & Amerant Bank Arena, Seminole Tribe of Florida, Bryant Security, Kelly Education, Jiffy Lube and the City of Boca Raton.
Open positions range from entry-level to management. Positions include police officers, security, food service, technicians, sales reps, customer service, IT, teacher assistants, insurance agents and account executives.
