MCSO: Man Caught Burglarizing Home After Raiding Refrigerator
KEY LARGO (CBSMiami) – A man who said he was using crystal meth and drinking all day was caught red-handed burglarizing a home, Monroe County Sheriff's officials said.
The man, 36-year-old Sean Stacey, was found inside a home on Musa Drive Friday night.
According to the sheriff's officials, Stacey had removed two flat-screen televisions from the wall and had raided the refrigerator.
The victim being burglarized kept Stacey at the home until deputies could arrive and take him into custody.
Stacey told deputies he'd been "using crystal meth and drinking all day".
After being taken to Mariner's Hospital to be checked out, Stacey was taken to jail and charged with criminal mischief and grand theft.
