Masked Gunmen Terrorize Deerfield Beach Restaurant
DEERFIELD BEACH (CBS4) -When two armed men entered a Deerfield Beach restaurant Monday, they weren't looking for the take-out menu, they were looking for loot.
Two men stormed into the Brazilian Depot Food Court at 700 SW 10th Street just before 10 p.m. with bandanas on their faces. They punched the clerk in the face and terrorized patrons by ordering them to the floor while they emptied the cash register, lockbox and then went customer to customer removing jewelry, money and cell phones.
"Thanks momma," was the parting comment to the clerk, according to a Broward Sheriff's Office Spokeswoman Keyla Concepción.
The pair of bandits ran through the kitchen and out the door, a camera catching their every move.
There is a reward attached to the arrest of these two, $1,000. Detectives ask anyone with information that could lead to an arrest in this crime to call 954-321-4270 or alert Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS. Callers can remain anonymous.
