Masked Bandit Attempts To Rob A Miramar Wendy's Via Drive-Thru
MIRAMAR (CBSMiami) -- A masked bandit armed with a gun tried to rob a Miramar Wendy's early Friday morning via drive-thru.
According to Miramar Police, the bandit ordered food at the Wendy's drive-thru located at 3750 Utopia Drive and proceeded to the window.
The clerk was approaching the window but saw the driver was wearing a mask with a gun so the clerk left the drive-thru window area.
The armed gunman, fired one shot into the drive-thru window.
No injuries were reported.
According to police,the suspect's vehicle appears to be a Pontiac Trans Am, possibly a 2001 model.
