Marlins Lose To End Spring Training
PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. (CBS4) - The Marlins had been riding high on a winning streak dating to mid-March.
But Wednesday, in the team's final exhibition game, the Marlins winning streak was ended by the New York Mets, 6-3.
Chris Young pitched five innings and gave up two earned runs on three hits and four walks, while striking out four. Young is set to be the Mets' fourth starter when the regular season starts Friday night.
Chris Coghlan had an RBI double for the Marlins hitting from the leadoff spot. Joseph O'Gara spread 5 hits over 5 innings and 2 runs.
