Marathon Man Wins $700 Grand In "Lucky 7 Raffle"
MARATHON (CBS4) – The first round of drinks, and maybe the second and third as well, will be on 36-year old Jason Williams of Marathon who was one of the top prize winners in last month's Florida Lottery "Lucky 7 Raffle."
Williams claimed his $700 thousand prize at the Florida Lottery's headquarters in Tallahassee.
Williams bought his ticket at a Citgo gas station on the Overseas Highway in Marathon. The station will receive a check for $4,000 for selling a top prize-winning ticket.
The "Lucky 7 Raffle" drawing, which was held on May 5th, awarded seven $700 thousand prizes, seven prizes of $70 thousand, 70 prizes of $700, and 700 prizes of $70.
Williams was the sixth top prize winner to come forward. Lottery officials said the remaining unclaimed $700 thousand ticket was sold at a lottery department district office in Tampa.
