Man Wanted For Sexually Assaulting Elderly Miami Woman
MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Miami police have released a sketch of a half naked man who they say broke into a woman's home and sexually assaulted her.
It happened last Tuesday in the 1200 block of SW 23rd Street. The elderly woman told police she was asleep when a man, wearing only briefs and an undershirt around his face, got into her home just after 5 a.m.
The man proceeded to climb on top of her and then began to choke her with one hand while he took off her underwear off with the other, according to the incident report.
"His actions were, I mean, so aggressive, choking her, ripping her clothes off, and fondling her and he also attempted to penetrate her," said Sgt. Freddie Cruz of the Miami Police Department.
The man, whom she described as a Latin male, then removed the shirt from his face and began to masturbate as he kissed her, according to the incident report. The woman said he then sexually molested her and ran off.
Neighbors were stunned at why the woman was targeted in the first place.
"What kind of mentality do you have to break into an elderly woman's house," asked neighbor Vamshi Rojas.
The man was described as being bald, 230-245 pounds and around 5'10". The woman told police he barely spoke English and couldn't complete a sentence.
