Man Struck, Killed On Oakland Park Boulevard
OAKLAND PARK (CBS4) – A man was struck and killed Saturday night when he stepped into the path of a car on Oakland Park Boulevard.
According to the Broward Sheriff's Office, Paul Flanagan was heading west on the road around 10:30 p.m. when his Ford Focus struck the man in the 800 block. Flanagan remained at the scene.
A beer container was found near the pedestrian in the roadway, according to BSO.
Investigators believe the man who died was homeless man and stayed in the area.
No criminal charges are pending.
