Man Rescued From Lauderdale Canal Dies

FT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) – A Coral Springs man who was rescued after he fell off a boat in a Ft. Lauderdale canal has died.
Anthony Brown's 19-foot boat broke down Sunday on a canal near the 15th Street Fisheries in Fort Lauderdale.
Several people on the boat it to land and that's when Brown, 46, went overboard as tried to tie it up to a dock.
Brown went underwater and didn't resurface. A team of five divers from the Fort Lauderdale Fire Department's Dive Team found Brown after about thirty minutes.
He was rushed to Broward Health Medical Center in critical condition. He later died at the hospital.
