Man Killed When Scuba Tank Explodes
ST. PETERSBURG (CBS4) – A St. Petersburg man was killed when a scuba tank he was carrying exploded.
The man, whose name has not been released, was carrying the tank to his car for a scuba trip when it burst. The explosion blew out the front door and windows of the apartment.
Two others inside the apartment at the time were not injured.
Investigators are looking into what may have caused the tank to fail and explode.
