Man Killed In Robbery-Related Shooting Identified

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – The man who was shot and killed during an attempted robbery has been identified.
Willy Warren, 77, was sitting inside the open trunk of his vehicle, relaxing when, around 7 p.m. Saturday, three males ambushed and attempted to rob him, according to police.
During the confrontation, Warren was shot.
The suspects fled leaving Warren lying on the ground in front of 3335 NW 13th Avenue.
The victim was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital's trauma center. Police confirmed he later died of his wounds.
