Grieving Grandmother Speaks Out About Deadly Opa-Locka Shooting

OPA-LOCKA (CBSMiami) -- A grieving grandmother is speaking out about a deadly Opa-Locka shooting that sources say may have been a case of road rage.
"It makes no sense that you should be bold enough to do this whether you call it a case of road rage or whether it was just a shooting that you go run and hide," said Annie Wilson, whose 26-year-old grandson Jarvis Rivers lost his life.
Rivers, a father of two young boys, was killed when a vehicle was riddled with bullets just after 3 p.m. Thursday at Ali Baba Avenue and N.W. 27th Avenue and slammed into another vehicle.
A second victim who was identified by family members as Kenneth Spencer was rushed by ambulance to Jackson Memorial Hospital where he is in critical condition. His mother told CBS4's Peter D'Oench that she hopes the criminals will be caught.
"They have to be taken off the street," she said.
Annie Wilson told D'Oench that she had raised Rivers since he was 15-years-old after his mother died.
"He was a quiet and very likable person," she said. "You couldn't say a bad word about him. You know this hurts my heart. He meant everything to me. I raised him since he was a kid. I can't believe they did this to him. If anybody knows something, they should call police and the detectives and tell them what happened."
"I would like to see them caught and punished and they should serve time in jail," she said.
A source told CBS4 that police are looking for a blue or black Ford F-350 Dually.
Miami-Dade Police Detective Lee Cowart said police do not have a motive and are not sure how many criminals were involved.
