Man Found Dead In Coconut Creek Walmart Parking Lot

COCONUT CREEK (CBSMiami) - Coconut Creek police are on the hunt for the killer of a man who was found dead in the parking lot of WalMart located at the corner of Hillsboro Boulevard and 441 early Friday morning.
As of Friday evening, there were more questions than answers about the mysterious murder.
A coworker of the victim came to the store Friday and told reporters that the victim is a vice president at a manufacturing company in Deerfield Beach.
He says the victim had just returned from a business trip to Germany with two other workers Thursday night and was headed home from Miami International
The victim was driving a red Camaro and was texting co-workers while driving home.
He told them he was stopping at the store because he didn't feel well When he didn't show up at his destination, friends called police who found the victim dead beside his car in the WalMart parking lot at 3 a.m.
Shoppers found the news disturbing.
"Oh my God it's terrible. It makes you nervous to go out at night," said Marie Bruno who shops at the busy store four to five times a week.
Police were seen patrolling the parking lot Friday evening.
Friday night, investigators identified the victim as Michael Robin Griffin, 56, of Coconut Creek.
