Magic Kingdom Ride Closed After Small Fire
ORLANDO (AP) - Officials at Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom were forced to close a ride Sunday morning after a power outage and small fire.
Park administrators told WESH the incident happened at the Astro Orbiter ride in the Tomorrowland area at about 9:30 a.m.
No injuries were reported and no guests were on the ride at the time.
Tomorrowland was briefly closed while workers investigated the problem.
The Astro Orbiter, which takes guests for a ride in a rocket-like spaceship, has been closed for inspection.
