Lotto Jackpot Rolls Over For Wednesday's Drawing
MIAMI (CBSMiami/AP) - Bummed that you didn't play the Florida lotto last week for Saturday's $54 million jackpot? You shouldn't be. Seeing as Saturday's drawing had no big winners, Wednesday's drawing is now set at a whopping $56 million.
With no big winning tickets for Saturday's $54 million drawing, Wednesday night's jackpot just might attract more players than usual.
Saturday's $54 million jackpot, according to lottery officials, was the highest total since September 2001.
A total of 50 tickets matched Saturday's five numbers to win $4,198.50 each; 2,951 tickets matched four numbers for $57 each; and 56,832 tickets matched three numbers for $5 each.
The winning Florida Lotto numbers selected Saturday: 2-7-11-15-43-45.
