Local Tech Company Makes Forbes List Of 'World's Most Innovative'
FORT LAUDERALE (CBSMiami) — Citrix made the new Forbes Magazine list of the world's most innovative companies.
CBS4 news partner The Miami Herald reports the tech provider landed on the 39th spot, between Sun Pharmaceuticals in India and France's Dassault Systems. Salesforce.com took the top slot in the list, followed by Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Amazon.com, Red Hat and Baidu.
Forbes said it bases the list on how investors measure each company's "innovation premium" — essentially the gap between what a company is worth and the cash it's generating at the moment.
