Living Large In A $32M Waterfront Mansion In Ft. Lauderdale
FT. LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) – It is as if you've entered a prestigious country club or five-star hotel when you first arrive at 5 Harborage, an expansive estate inside an exclusive waterfront community in Fort Lauderdale.
CBS4's Lisa Petrillo met up with the team known as " The Realtors to the Stars," also known as "The Jills" - Jill Eber and Jill Hertzberg.
"This is one of the most exclusive communities in Fort Lauderdale. It's private. They own their own streets here and the home is absolutely spectacular." said Jill Eber.
With more than 500 feet on the water, the home sits on a three-point double lot that wraps all the way around the water's edge. There's the beautiful infinity edge pool and the oversized dock area which can take a nine-foot draft off a yacht. There's also a tennis court.
"So what is really nice is that you have this area here where you can play four sets of tennis, come in and have a drink, relax, watch TV," said Jill Hertzberg, pointing out a fully furnished gazebo just outside the tennis court.
Built in 2007 and priced at $32- million dollars, the six bedroom, eight bathroom home has everything and then some. The grand entry boasts 24-foot high ceilings and a dramatic double staircase.
"There is a family that has custom-built this house for themselves everything that is here, is amazing. The finishes are incredible," said Jill Eber.
Upstairs, the Master Suite is actually its own wing.
"This whole wing that we're standing in now is the master suite," said Eber. "It's over 3000 square feet. They have a gym, a media sitting room, they've got two split bathrooms that are spectacular and of course the finishes are over top," said Eber.
And there's an elevator which goes straight from the living room to the master suite. The actual master bedroom has a fireplace, side office and wrap around terrace, back out to the water.
Downstairs kids of all ages will enjoy the Willy Wonka style candy and popcorn room.
You can bring those treats inside the 12-seat media room for in-house movies or shows. All yours for $32 Million
