LeBron Tops In Jersey Sales
MIAMI (CBS4) - LeBron James has been considered the NBA's top villain all year long after he decided to bring his talents to South Beach. But it appears fans love to dress as the villain.
LeBron had the top-selling jersey in the NBA during the 2010-2011 season. He moved past Kobe Bryant to claim the number one spot for the first time since 2004 when he was a rookie in Cleveland.
Bryant ranked number two and Boston Celtics point guard Rajon Rondo moved up to third in the jersey sales rankings. Amar'e Stoudemire ranked fourth in jersey sales.
The news comes as a surprise to many in the media who fed into portraying LeBron as the villain. His popularity was expected to wane after coming to Miami, but instead, it looks like the fans love good basketball players, no matter where they are.
Well, everyone except for Cleveland residents.
