LeBron Named Eastern Conference Player Of The Week
MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Miami Heat superstar has once again been named the Eastern Conference player of the week for his play over the last week.
Not only has James avoided picking up a personal foul over the past week, he also averaged 25.3 points, eight rebounds, and 7.7 assists in three Miami Heat games last week. James has played at least 210 minutes without a foul since being whistled in the first quarter of a game against the Hornets.
Over the first 23 games of the season, LeBron has scored at least 20 points in each game and he currently ranks fifth in scoring with 25.2 points per game. The thing is James could lead the league in scoring each year, but he chooses not to in order to facilitate getting others involved.
"If I wanted to, I could lead the league in scoring, but that's not my job here," James said.
James and the Heat will play the Oklahoma City Thunder on Christmas Day in a rematch of last year's NBA Finals.
