LeBron Continues To Be Deadly Efficient From The Field
MIAMI (CBSMiami) – When LeBron James and Dwyane Wade are playing as well as they did Monday night against the Phoenix Suns, it's impossible to beat the Miami Heat.
James scored 35 points, handed out 4 assists, and grabbed 5 rebounds; while Wade scored 21 points, dished out 12 assists, and pulled down 6 rebounds in the Heat's 107-92 victory over the Suns.
What was even more impressive about the Heat's dynamic duo's performance was the efficiency from the field. LeBron scored 35 points on just 14 shots from the field, going 11-14 (79%), while also shooting a perfect 11-11 from the free throw line.
Wade scored his 21 points on 9-13 shooting (69.2%), while not shooting a three-pointer during the game. Wade also shot a perfect 3-3 from the foul line and was a +22 for the game. Combined, the duo shot 20-24 (83%) and 100 percent from the free throw line.
Add in 17 points from Ray Allen and 11 points, 7 rebounds from Chris Andersen and it's easy to see why even on a night when Chris Bosh scored just seven points; the Heat easily disposed of the Suns.
Overall this season, LeBron has taken his game to an even higher level to start the young season. LeBron is averaging 26 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 6.6 assists per game, all while shooting 61 percent from the field, 64 percent from behind the three-point line, and 80 percent from the charity stripe.
Now, with the Bulls losing former MVP point guard Derrick Rose for the season, LeBron and the Heat appear destined for another playoff matchup with the only team with a realistic chance as of the end of November of competing with Miami, the Indiana Pacers.
