TALLAHASSEE (CBSMiami/NSF) - Do you dislike having to switch from Eastern standard time to Daylight-saving time, and visa versa, every year?
If one state lawmaker gets her way, you wont' have to.
Dubbing it the "Sunshine Protection Act," a House Democrat Kristin Jacobs of Coconut Creek filed a bill that would keep daylight-saving time throughout the year.
Part of the bill says that "as the 'Sunshine State,' Florida should be kept sunny year-round."
Daylight-saving time, which leads to more light in the evening, will start March 13th and end November 6th in 2016.
