Lauderhill ATM Robber Caught On Camera

FT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) - An armed man who robbed a man at a Lauderhill ATM was captured on camera.
Now the Broward Sheriff's Office has released his picture in hopes that someone recognizes him and gives them or Crime Stoppers a call.
The robbery happened just before 1 a.m. on August 4th.
Jherry Sylia, 20, was making a deposit at a Chase Bank branch on W. Oakland Park Boulevard when he noticed a black four door Pontiac driving the wrong way on a one-way road just behind the hedge line.
As Sylia finished the deposit and was waiting for the receipt to print, a man armed with a gun approached him.
The robber pointed the gun at Sylia's waist and ordered him to give him everything. The thief got away with Sylia's license, several bank cards and a small amount of cash.
Anyone who can help identify the armed man is urged to call the sheriff's office at (954) 321-4249 or Crime Stoppers at (954) 493-TIPS (8477) or online at browardcrimestoppers.org. Crime Stoppers will pay up to $3,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
