Lane Closures on MacArthur Causeway Start Tonight
MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- Nighttime closures of the eastbound and westbound lanes of the MacArthur Causeway start Monday night.
Drivers traveling on eastbound and westbound MacArthur Causeway/SR A1A should prepare for lane closures from 200' east of Biscayne Boulevard's on-ramp to west of Fountain Street.
At least one lane in each direction will remain open at all times.
In addition, the Parrot Jungle Trail frontage road will be completely closed between the hours of 10 p.m. and 5:30 a.m., from just west of the entrance to Jungle Island to just west of the entrance to Miami Children's Museum.
Drivers entering and exiting Parrot Jungle Trail will need to follow the posted detour signs and portable message boards.
The lane closures are meant to allow the contractor to deliver and install new beams for MacArthur Causeway Bridge.
The closures will last until November 14th.
